Melbourne

The first day in Australia we went to Melbourne.  The hotel we went to had 50 levels and sometimes my mom’s ears popped because we were so high in the air.  I think we were on levels 47 and 48!  We were there for 2 days with a free breakfeast buffet.  The hotel was nice and there was a great view for the sunset.  I think it was the Sofitel hotel!  I loved it for two days and then we moved into Port Douglas for 5 days.

Port Douglas

Port Douglas was a very nice resort and hotel and it reminded me of Mexico.  Port Douglas had a very big pool and a very very nice beach.  But I think I liked the Sofitel better.  We stayed in Port Douglas for 5 days and then moved into a house.

We also got to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef

Spiders!!!

We moved into a house with six beds!  Perfect for our family.  I loved the house but then quickly got myself very uncomfortable with…deadly dangerous toxic poisonous spiders that creeped into our house from different cracks!  We found one white-tail (research) in our bathroom and one red-back (research) outside in our yard!!  They are both deadly!  We stayed there for 10 days I think and then moved to a taller and bigger house in Sydney!

Fireworks!

This new house we stayed in for two days had 10 beds I think and a lot of rooms!  We went here for one night to see the new years eve fireworks!  They were awesome.

But then as soon as we left the house, we headed straight for the Blue Mountains!

We stayed in a cabin for a week in the mountains and then we also saw two massive Huntsman Spiders (research) in our house!  There were three twin beds and a couch which my brother slept on, and a king bed room which my mom and dad slept on.  We hiked and got to swim in waterfalls.

 We then soon flew to Indonesia!
