What an adventure we had traveling to Chichen-Itza in 2012, our first family vacation to the Cancun/Riviera Maya area.  We were staying in Cancun at the time, and decided to rent a car, visiting the ancient ruins of Chichen-Itza, Coba, and Tulum all in the same day .
