“From His fullness we all have received Grace Upon Grace” John 1:16 As I reflected on this past year, I was reminded of God’s goodness to us in so many ways. My dear friend, Cindy, shared the above verse and it mirrored our sentiments exactly. Much of His goodness has come in the shape and form of people! Melbourne The first day in Australia we went to Melbourne. The hotel we went to had 50 levels and sometimes my mom’s ears popped because we were so high in the air. We spent the last few days in Australia tucked away in a cabin in the Blue Mountains for a little rest and relaxation after the holidays and a ton of sightseeing. The first thing we did was leave the airport and get a taxi over to Melbourne, which was about half an hour to an hour away. We had a lot of fun exploring the city. When we were ready to leave… Read More

Australia, the place where everyone’s your mate, and you are everyone’s mate. And everybody says g’day, mate. At least, that’s what I heard. Does everyone really say G’day mate in Australia? No. Does everyone really call you mate in Australia? Pretty much. When I think Australia, I think Kangaroos, and if you go to FeatherdaleWildlife Park and the last thing you do in Australia is feed super cute kangaroos and wallabies, I think you would too. But I also think of spiders, because we saw more than a couple life-threatening spiders in the houses that we stayed… Read More
