Victoria Jungfrau

Day 10: Interlaken in the Jungfrau Region.

I wanted to share photos of our beautiful hotel. This was one of our favorite resorts to date for its relaxing atmosphere, tranquility, and unobtrusive luxury. We knew it was historical and lovely and have had clients stay here but we never knew how lovely it really was until we stayed ourselves. Not only is it a gorgeous resort in an ideal location, surrounded by nature and the Swiss Alps, but the staff goes out of their way to care for you.

Enjoy the photos! Here is our first view of the front of the hotel.

A beautiful lobby area with a lot of windows, lights, and vibrant colors.

Our bedroom was beautiful. We were upgraded to a gorgeous room with a view of the mountains, and the staff went went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Roses, fruit and delicious Swiss Chocolates were a sweet way to start our stay.

The Victoria Jungfrau offers first class culinary experiences in its elegant, lively restaurants. Enjoy International, Swiss, and Italian Cuisine.

The Victoria Bar and Terrasse also offers a very relaxed but classy atmosphere with finger foods and classic bar foods. It’s a fantastic place to return to at the end of a day of extensive hiking and exploring to unwind. If you’re fortunate, there may even be live music playing! And just to note, the dining here was outstanding!

Their drinks and desserts were also a great way to enjoy the evening.

The common areas of the Victoria Jungfrau are lovely, extending into several different, equally elegant spaces.

At night, the lighting transforms the spaces.

While the space was very generous, the interior decorating and placement of furniture created multiple cozy, more intimate spaces for couples and small groups to gather. We adored spending time in this space and looked forward to returning to our hotel each night.

And another favorite space.

A few other common areas in the hotel.

And last but not least, a few shots of the amazing breakfast buffet.

The photos definitely do not capture how enticing the food offering was. In addition to the buffet, you also had the option to order from a menu. The breakfast room where you dined was also delightful, with large glass windows facing the impressive mountain peaks, imposing on the days when visibility was clear. Sipping a hot coffee while enjoying the views was the perfect way to start each morning!
