Four Seasons Prague: Blending History and Modern Luxury
We’ve always loved any opportunity we’ve had to stay at Four Seasons properties around the world. Prague was no exception. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were thrilled when they generously upgraded us to a gorgeous suite with river views. It was one of those moments that made us smile like first-time visitors all over again. Over the years, we’ve also had the privilege of trusting our clients to Four Seasons in many destinations. They’ve consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate every special request we’ve made on their behalf.

When you step into the Four Seasons Prague, you step into a world where centuries of history blend seamlessly with modern luxury. From the moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by a sense of tranquility and elegance. It’s an experience that leaves you not just refreshed, but truly embraced by the warmth of the staff, the city, and its beauty.

A Historic Setting with a Modern Touch: Located on the banks of the Vltava River, just steps from the iconic Charles Bridge, the Four Seasons Prague is the perfect place to experience the best of the city. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored 16th-century building, and you can feel its history in every detail, from the frescoed ceilings overhead to the stonework that quietly whispers stories of Prague’s past.

Our first impression came the moment we stepped into the lobby for check-in. It felt warm and inviting, with an easy elegance that wasn’t the least bit stuffy. Fresh flowers spilled out of tall vases, the rich wood tones added a cozy glow, and carefully chosen pieces of art and décor made the space feel both unique and welcoming.

But don’t let its historic charm fool you. The interiors have been thoughtfully updated with contemporary furnishings and plush comforts that make you feel at home. It’s a place where old-world elegance meets 21st-century sophistication, and the blend is nothing short of magical.

We loved coming “home” in the evenings, and just sinking into these cozy couches, surrounded by such beauty.

Walking to Our Room: The walk to our room was unexpectedly exciting. I know that might sound a little silly, but the interior design of this Four Seasons was truly stunning. We loved the soft blues, ivory, and whites that flowed across the walls and floors, all blending together to create a warm, inviting, and effortlessly elegant atmosphere. We could picture similar colors in our own home.

Approaching our room felt like the best kind of anticipation. As we walked down the hall, it was like unwrapping a gift, each step building excitement for what awaited behind the door.

We especially loved the thoughtful welcome note and gifts!

And what a view from our room! We opened the window right away and just stopped to take it all in. The river sparkling below and the rooftops stretching out toward Prague Castle. It was one of those moments where you can’t help but pause and just make a memory. Have I already mentioned how much I love Prague?

And then there’s the little details that made the room feel so inviting, the cozy recliner tucked into a corner, the mirrored closet, the luxurious bathroom, and a sweet little coffee and tea station that made everything feel extra comfortable.

Unparalleled Views & Serenity: One of the most unforgettable things about the Four Seasons is the breathtaking view of Prague Castle and the Vltava River. Whether you’re gazing out from the comfort of your room or enjoying the serene atmosphere of the hotel’s beautiful courtyard, the beauty of Prague is right at your doorstep.

And let’s not forget the simple luxury of feeling completely at ease. The staff at the Four Seasons is so attentive, gracious, and thoughtful. It really feels like they’ve thought of everything. From the warm welcome when you arrive to the moment you check out, you’re looked after in such a personal way. Believe me, that’s not always the case at every five-star resort, which makes us appreciate it here even more.
Indulge in Fine Dining and Relaxation: A stay at the Four Seasons is not complete without treating yourself to some of the best dining experiences Prague has to offer. The hotel’s Café des Central is a beautiful spot for a delicious breakfast or an afternoon treat. With its warm atmosphere and mouthwatering offerings, it’s the perfect way to start your day before heading out to explore Prague’s many wonders.

After a day of sightseeing, the Café and Bar provide a cozy space to relax with a cocktail and unwind. If you’re in the mood for something indulgent, the in-house restaurant, Cotto Crudo, offers delicious dining that blends local flavors with international influences, a truly unforgettable culinary journey. The presentation was even better than the taste!

We took a little afternoon break from sightseeing. Our morning adventures were done and evening plans still ahead. we arrived just as the rain started to fall, and spent some time at the Four Seasons Spa. We didn’t book any treatments, just relaxed on a lounge chair, took a dip in the pool, and discovered a built-in “metal bed” that sent gentle, jacuzzi-like bubbles through the water. It wasn’t actually a jacuzzi, but it felt like one, and it was such a fun, unexpected way to unwind. By the time we left, we felt completely refreshed and ready to continue exploring Prague.

A Stay That Feels Like Home: What makes Four Seasons Prague so special is the feeling it gives you. There’s a personal touch to everything. It’s not just about the luxurious amenities or the impeccable service (though both are certainly excellent. It’s more about how the hotel makes you feel like you’re part of the city’s timeless story.
Whether you’re sipping a glass of wine on your balcony as the sun sets over the river or waking up to the grandeur of Prague Castle from your room, there’s an unmistakable magic to staying at the Four Seasons Prague. It’s a place where history, luxury, and warmth come together, leaving you with unforgettable memories and the desire to return again and again.
