Day 9 Continued – Interlaken Part Two.

After returning from our sailing adventure, we decided to explore Interlaken by foot. Here are a few photos we captured of this beautiful town.

We stopped for coffee at one of our favorite places in Interlaken (we had a few).

We also strolled through the town and shops, and made sure to sample a few of the chocolates and sweet shops along the way. As an aside, if you see any Laderach Chocolate shops while traveling in Switzerland, please do yourself a favor, and stop in! That’s all I will say for now.

Interlaken is very quaint and pristine. Yes, there are of course the gorgeous mountain backdrops we’ve already discussed, but even the buildings, churches, and history of the town are so beautiful, even in the rain.

We then enjoyed a traditional Swiss Dinner at a restaurant recommended to us by our guide, Matteo. It was a great choice and we loved everything. Especially the Cheese and Chocolate Fondues!

We loved our stay in the Jungfrau Region and in the Interlaken area and look forward to returning one day.
