Four Seasons Gresham Palace Budapest

The Four Seasons Budapest is situated right on the banks of the Danube River, directly in front of the gorgeous Chain Bridge.

The entrance is open, light and airy, with several staff ready and waiting to welcome you warmly. Note the gorgeous wrought iron gate with peacocks adorning each side.

The lobby itself is lined with over two million mosaic tiles. The decor is elegant but understated and unassuming.

Bedroom: The bedroom at the Four Seasons was much more spacious than I had anticipated. European hotel rooms are often much smaller than US hotels, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much space we had. I loved the massive windows as well, with views and a lot of sunlight pouring in.

Luxurious Bathroom – I think the bathroom was more luxurious than the bedroom! As ready as I was to return home to my family after a very intense few days at the River Cruise Expo, there was a part of me that secretly wanted to stay for just another few days just to enjoy the beauty of this suite.

The closet space was very generous, taking up the whole of one wall.

A few lovely details in and around the Grisham Palace.

Some public spaces where you can relax or find yourself a snack or a meal after exploring the beautiful city of Budapest.

Even the stairs, hallways, exterior walls, and doors are pretty!

And finally, on the last night, I ended up getting room service, so I could experience what that was like. Delicious! What was I expecting?

I loved the Four Seasons Grisham Palace. It’s a wonderful hotel located in an ideal location. I wouldn’t say it is necessarily centrally located, as the markets and main areas of Budapest are a 15-20 minute walk away, but the walk is beautiful when the weather is nice. Taxis are also easily used and inexpensive, so if you’re looking for an upscale hotel which is warm, welcoming, and comfortable, it’s a lovely choice. It’s also a perfect spot for a pre or post river cruise sailing on Riverside, AMA Waterways, Avalon, or any other river cruise line sailing to or from Budapest!
