Budapest Nights

Budapest is one of the loveliest cities in the world at night time. Here is a simple photo blog to share a glimpse into what we experienced every evening.

As the sun starts to descend, the colors over the Danube subtly change from yellow to orange, purple to red. It’s stunning.

Budapest Castle is especially lovely.

The lights on the buildings, bridges, and boats as they sail slowly on the surface of the water reflect colorfully on the Danube.

A few other places visited with fellow travel agent friends the night before the River Cruise Expo began. First, Matild Palace, where Spago is located.

Next, a fantastic dinner with friends, followed by a wonderful, cosy, New York Loft style wine bar & shop in the heart of Budapest.

Budapest is a lively vibrant city steeped in beauty and history. There are many wonderful ways to spend your days, but there are an equally large number of great things to see and do once the sun sets as well. Whether it’s dining, visiting the Ruins Bar area, or taking a sunset cruise, make sure you take time to just stroll along the Danube as everything starts to light up. Simply gorgeous!
